Our facility specializes in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. My husband has now been a resident for two years. He has been given best of care from both his nurses and diligent aides. As I visit my husband every day; I only wish that the parking was better; but being realistic, that is a headache all over the Island.

She has a lot of issues where she rings the bell, the staff don't come a lot. They make her wait a long time to use the bathroom. That's the only complaint and everything else is good.
In the entrance way there are couches and chairs and tables allowing for you to spend time socializing with other residents, and watch them socialize. There were game nights, dances, bands, and other events that were provided for the residents. Our interdisciplinary team works together to improve patient outcomes, especially as it relates to preventative health and wellness programs, medical supervision, and reducing the risk of a re-hospitalization. The facility’s rehabilitation gym is equipped with specialized therapeutic modalities and has therapists who are experts in their fields.

The nurses there take such good care of the patients. Services are very organized and very well run. My father wasn't too crazy about the food. If my father ends up back into skilled nursing, I am hoping not, but I would definitely put him back here. I have no problem with the place and I would recommend it highly.
I went in Cloves Lake Health Care two days before Christmas. I lost weight, which I'm glad because I need to. They had me on low sodium diet, so it was unbearable.
His emergency call button has been broken since he entered the facility. This is not the place for someone you love or for yourself. Please think twice before using this facility.We need compassion and proper medical treatment, but this is not the place for this. I hope it can be made better for all patients. The people have no communication between departments. Ask them what the state required minimum safe discharge protocols are and they look at you like you have 3 heads. They provided the worst care that any of my three relatives received here in Staten Island compared to 2 other nursing homes. Half of the social workers are great, and the other half should be working on tugboats instead of in healthcare. I wish I could rate this NO STARS but I had to click on at least one. I offered to meet with the administrator to have a professional conversation regarding what went on with my relative and they never accepted my request.
