By in large this is an EXCELLENT facility. When I visit my mother, the facility is clean and the food they serve is quality and good. Good socialization amongst its residents. The only fault I find with this place is that there could be more staff in the late-overnight hours. At times after 11pm my mother sometimes has a hard time getting the assistance she requires .
We take a professional approach to aging providing for the physical, spiritual, social and mental needs of our residents. Clove Lakes Healthcare Center provides a range of care services, including skilled nursing care, respite care, hospice care and rehabilitation. A team of registered nurses is always on hand to provide skilled medical care to residents and patients. Each resident is assessed upon arrival by a team of nurses, doctors, therapists and social workers on arrival and a personalized care plan is created for each individual. CMS regularly inspects every skilled nursing facility.
A Comprehensive Suite of Clinical Care
On cold days, there is no place to sit and chat besides the patient's room except for several loveseats near the cold entrance. Aides were great, patient, and hard-working. The doctor treated her as if she was a child.
His emergency call button has been broken since he entered the facility. This is not the place for someone you love or for yourself. Please think twice before using this facility.We need compassion and proper medical treatment, but this is not the place for this. I hope it can be made better for all patients. Everybody was very nice, the food was very nice, the place was very clean. There is like a little yard you could sit in. I was in a wheelchair so I would go outside there. They had a big television in a TV room, each room had a TV. I visited my mother-in-law who was admitted for rehab. The food was inedible so we brought her in food from the outside.

There are plenty of nurses on call and available to tend to patients needs although not every member of the staff seems happy to be there. There were activities planned for the residents but not every one participates. So, I cannot even imagine what it is like to live. Clove Lakes is a dynamite facility, it is a wonderful place, with great staff and very caring people. I dealt with them for two years when my father was there.
I did stop by at night and they had bingo. They also have a beauty parlor and a little church. The only thing I didn't really like about it was there were too many different accents. We offer a wide range of specialty services, aimed at addressing a variety of medical conditions. The staff is friendly and nice, the rooms could be a little cleaner and the staff could help keep the room a little more organized for the patients that can’t do much for themselves. I don’t know why they have the patients eating in the hallways if they have a room, that’s not a pleasant sight to see as a first time visitor.
The West Shore is the island's least populated and most industrial part. Motor traffic can reach the borough from Brooklyn by the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and from New Jersey by the Outerbridge Crossing, Goethals Bridge and Bayonne Bridge. Staten Island has Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus lines and an MTA rapid transit line, the Staten Island Railway, which runs from the ferry terminal at St. George to Tottenville.
